The Fairy Island-Battlefield-Dawn: Kinmen and Mazu Literature covers the literature of all periods in these two places, including the valuable objects and literary works from traditional literature through the battlefield military control period to the abolition of martial law, and introducing more than a dozen native writers living on or away from these two islands. Literary works are the focus of this exhibition exploring the historical changes of these two places in terms of the following roles: offshore island, frontier battlefield, and tourism island. By introducing local literary works, we attempt to restore the destiny and the daily life of both islands in different periods. Under the guidance of native writers and their works, readers can travel across time and space to discover the true print of Kinmen and Mazu and so to consider together the future of these islands.
