Different forms of interaction in different periods, such as clash or compromise, have always been the subject writers desire to present in their works. This is what nourishes the diversity and abundance of Taiwan literature.

As the second permanent exhibition of NMTL, the Inner World of Taiwan Literature explores and presents writers and their literary souls in terms of nature, culture, and society. Apart from remodeling the New Life for Old Buildings permanent exhibition, the NMTL will introduce the compound permanent exhibition to present the comprehensive and colorful inner world of Taiwan literature with multimedia.
