Voice to Writing

The NMTL’s 6th annual Mobile Museum of Taiwan Literature on-tour program is playing out on a container truck to barnstorm across all parts of Taiwan in an attempt to offer people an opportunity to be closer to literature. Starting from July 21, 2015, the Mobile Museum has parked at the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, in Keelung; Zhonghe District and Sanxia District, New Taipei City; as well as the National Library of Public Information in Taichung City. The exhibition will be ended on December 6, this year. The exhibition of “Voice to Writing: The Voice Rendition of Taiwan Literature” invites interested people to the “container truck” to re-experience the beauty of Taiwan literature through audio and video.

The exhibition of “Voice to Writing: The Voice Rendition of Taiwan Literature” has a space about 69 square meters, which is divided into areas to present themes including “The Voice of Ordinary People,” “Mother’s Words,” “Read Aloud for You,” “Words Go on the Stage,” and “On-scene Sound Experience.” The exhibition emphasizes the presentation of the literary voices and adopts interactive, artistic rendition. The connotation and variability of the exhibition has been enriched with multimedia design, combined with diversified information technology, and the audience can savor the beauty of literature through a variety of ways including music, operas, poetry recitation, and literary movies, in addition to reading.
